A Guide to Pairing Pattern & Paint

Find the pattern that fits your home, and the paint that goes with it

You love wallpaper with a story, not just a pretty print. But it’s hard to know if a pattern will actually work in your space, or what color to paint around it once it’s up. This little guide takes that guesswork away.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Seven of my favorite wallpaper patterns, shown up close and in real rooms
  • Paint pairings from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams for each one
  • A peek at the story and inspiration behind every pattern
